It all started with Jeremy Clarkson's crazy desire for some peace and quiet. After years of driving powerful machines in the concrete maze, he craved a taste of rural life. Naturally, Richard Hammond and James May eagerly bought into it. So they packed up and set off to the depths of England's rolling hills.

They discovered an old farmhouse that needed a bit of TLC.

Sheriff Johnson was left with no choice but to arrest/detain/apprehend the Top Gear presenters, who were charged/cited for/accused of several traffic violations/misdemeanors/infractions.

As for the cars? Well, let's just say that they weren't in perfect condition/pristine/showroom ready when they left town.
